LovEvolution 2010 is coming and it is never too early to start planning. The date for the annual dance parade and party is set for October 2nd this year so put a big red X on your calendar and start counting down the days.
LovEvoution is an event unlike any other in the US. It's a full week of amazing events at every club in town. It's a parade that snakes through downtown (Market St.) and spills into the Civic Center area and taking over City Hall. It's a place for 100,000 people to dance to beats from around the world coming from dozens of trucks weighted down by speakers and tweakers and it spawns after parties of epic proportions. It's an event where people of all walks of life come together to enjoy music from top international and local talent alike. It's an event put on by a few volunteers for the whole community to enjoy. It's Love Parade turned LoveFest turned LovEvolution.
Get your accomodations handled before prices start to climb. why book at $200 in september when you can book at $85 now(or better yet a suite at $65 last motnh that is now over twice as much)
me being "cheap" :p last year resulted in good fortunes for DaveT and DizcoKidd. Dizco, I have the same hotel booked again this year, similar rate too :) |

| Sigh, the first weekend in October again...same as the last two years. Due to work, that means no weekdays off, so I have to leave on Friday and return Sunday/early Monday. I'm sure it could cause problems for others if held the last week in September, but switching it up now & then would be nice! I wouldn't mind staying an extra day or two in SF, makes the trip less rushed, more enjoyable, more things to do, with cheaper and less packed flights...but the third year for me of over & back in two days! |

my question is which star dj play this year.
I would like to volunteer this year. While last year could not enter the afterparty. but someone gave me a VIP badge and security pass me by saying you are vip. lol

$10 donation jackass! more than happy to donate because money goes to a good cause, as opposed to greedy promoters.
Most events i go to are NOT free. not my fault im a good person and have a large circle of friends, some of which are able to hook me up in SF,SD,LA,and LV. good things happen to good people. try that sometime. |

relax. just yankin your sausage mate. Just thought it was funny that the only couple of threads i read today all had posts from you complaining about cover charges. It sent me back a few months to all the whining you did about circus door charges. |

no expansion, actually there will be fewer floats occupying the same amount of space--with an emphasis on production quality and chaos control. i was at the producer's round table meeting last night and heard a lot of good dialogue about big changes this year to preserve and improve the quality of experience. what i'm hoping for is more outreach from dependable volunteers to make sure the execution is smoother. |

ANYWAY!

Last year i showed up and shouted onto floats for two hours to get them in order, and met some really cool EDM lovers then went home for a few hours then back to party with my VIP badge, WHY NOT SUPPORT THIS EVENT |
