spundae/skills will def have one but it really depends on the line up they have otherwise w/e... hoping for listed and local love though. last year's both were the best! |

| welp - thats one major float gone. Like the music or not they book they play a huge role in the bay area scene and the parade - attendance and otherwise. This will hurt the festival. As i said earlier I expect many more to not attend this year. I would not fly out to this unless the artists you want to see will be here - festival or club. Otherwise, unlike other years where it didnt matter who performed, this year I think the event will be vary different. |

listed as well? well yea have fun guys. Ill be waiting for the clubs that night rather than at a parade that charges 20 dollars with more naked guys there than edm supporters.
find it bs promoters still have not come out to say if they will have a float in hopes of at least getting those flying in to go to their club event rather than cancel. |

Well, I imagine there's a reason all these changes are going on. Maybe having to scale back for the city to let them? Have it be more organized/controlled this year while all the political crap goes on? Wonder if there are six floats, does that mean basically just six stages.
Maybe I'll start getting nosey and ask around, hehe. |

its not really the promoters though, its more of a city thing. gavin newsom is going for a higher office and trying to minimize anything that will tarnish his image. the whole love parade and edc incidents didnt help. |

yeah, I'd say this is clearly due to politics and with the city. Especially after pop and EDC, the media's sensationalism (including flat out misleading/wrong coments), etc.
The promoters love the event. A lot of people pour their own money into the floats and stuff.
I just hope that the LE organizers don't delay announcing changes. The longer they wait, the more people will be frustrated because people have made plans or are making plans on attending. Don't want them to come expecting one thing and getting another. |
