| No parade = more time to rest...weekend has been saved for me, so even though we could cancel with our southwest flights, Friday and Saturday nights are going to be too good to pass up...and i hear there is this cool little pool party in vegas on the 3rd...hmm maybe a flight out there sunday and then straight back to so cal...;) |

Looks like a bunch of people are just going to renegade Market St/Civic center anyways... hmm... not sure this is such a great idea as far as safety goes... but might be interesting to see the turnout. If anyone attends, let me know how it goes! lol

If you care enough about the event, you will show up. I am sick and tired of a few board of directors and city officials having all the say on this event. It is a people's event; its fate shouldn't be tied to the political convenience of a few persons. If you fear this and that, your voice can never be heard, and they would keep doing that to the EDM community, treating it as a joke.
If the turnout is less than ten thousand, safety shouldn't be an issue. I will be surprised if more than 10k show up. Yes, there are risks involved, but what happens to freedom of expressions and take the power to your own hands? If people don't see and hear you out, they would just treat you as insignificant.
Hopefully they can get a sound permit. Because without music, folks won't stay long. |
