Why are people panicking?
THERE WILL BE PARTIES THE WEEK OF ULTRA, THIS IS GUARANTEED. Maybe there won't be an official opening/closing party, and maybe an artist or two can't come now, but most parties and most artists will still be there the week of UMF.

There will be parties during WMC week also. There may not be 100 parties like previous years but there will still be parties, probably like 25 or so.
I think WMC is trying to get back to their roots and do a business conference like how it started. They aren't associated with all the parties that go down.
There will still be major players in town for WMC. Assuming it is run like any other Conference in the world they will pay their major players to be there and do workshops, seminars and all that good stuff.
The major players though, Space, Opium Group, LIV and Jon Cowan will be doing all of their parties during the UMF week.
Everyone getting their panties in a bunch about this. Jeez

| Donnie none of the big LA edm players i know attend actual WMC official events... they do business but at dinners and hotel rooms and elsewhere... no need to go to the official WMC conference for that! |
