I personally, really like the sound of a more "intimate" EDM festival at the beach. And if LP jumps on the wagon and gets a bash of artists to the beach, then all this mess might end up being a good things.. we'll see how it plays out.
Now, if pool party permits aren't given throughout other weeks, it might force all other pool party's to follow WMC dates ? |

| He might be referring to the "amount" of pool party permits they are allowed to give? Maybe through WMC they give a greater amount of pool party permits versus just a few.. I don't know, we'll see what happens lol |

2 comments from the peanut gallery..
1) Ultra effed up, they announced dates that did not match WMC and thats part of the deal! Had Ultra not made people believe that it would be "business as usual" weeks ago and announced dates at the end of the month, no one would be complaining as much about the earlier WMC week taking place. Promoters wouldn't have moved forward booking artists and venues, etc. This is Ultra's demise and GOOD KARMA will prevail.
2) if it weren't for WMC, we wouldn't even be having this discussion, again...good karma should dictate who you side with in this matter if you're taking sides at all. WMC, just as all of us, were blind-sided by Ultra's decision to flip them the middle finger and rape fans for extreme amounts of money. Miami is going to stick by WMC, an organization that has proven year after year for 25 years now to produce a well-organized and civilized series of events that are profitable and productive for the community. Ultra is a clusterf*ck every year and this year will be no exception.
Don't worry about the "gay" parties interfering with WMC parties...we've overlapped before and you've never even noticed! 3 years ago the food & wine show overlapped with WMC and no one cared or noticed! |

Yea, but the food & wine show didn't use a clubs that would possibly be used for WMC events and this will. |

honestly, the clubs that would be affected by the crossover aren't really that big of a deal to the majority of those who will go to the WMC week's worth events....the Ultra crowd is the same as the Nikki Beach, Surfcomber, Shelborne crowd and those are only a few of the clubs hosting parties during WMC, typically.
You forget Victor Hotel, W, Ice Palace, Electric Pickle, etc just to name a few...they'll stick by WMC and book parties in our favor with talent in our favor...unless you want to see DeadMau5 and Guetta, no one gives a crap if Mansion has a gay night instead of F*ck Me I'm Famous...aren't they really one in the same anyway? lol |
