| you guys rip on candy and plur so much its hilarious, you act like those people dont like the music or are into it just as much as you guys just because they gain some happiness in a different way then you. but wait you gotta dress in a button down and be all serious to enjoy these events right? get off that already. one of your beloved members was chanting TIESTO at a markus schulz cd opening party for 30 straight minutes. Yeah ill take the kids with bracelets on before the loser who's purposely being a clown during another djs set |

People can dress however they want, I don't judge. I have some really good friends in the scene who load themselves with kandi bracelets and , and I know they absolutely love the music.
You can't deny, however, that there's plenty of fuzzy-boot morons with shirts that say "I'M LOOKING FOR MOLLY" that are literally there for the sole purpose of telling everyone how hard they raged at the epic Tiesto party last week. Lots and lots and lots of them. Those are the people we're ripping on, and with good reason. They're hurting our scene immensely. Dress however you want, but show some love for the music instead of bragging about how hard you raged because you ate four pills during a 2 hour Arty set.
Every time I party with Andrew (lets use Airwave and Digweed as examples) we end up looking at each other and just saying "NOW THIS IS IN MUSIC!" as we dance our asses off. We're never worried about what we look like or who we're impressing or if we're gonna find SWEET PIX the next day to tag ourselves in. We just love the music and our friends. That's what this is about. |

Like the above poster said. We are ripping on the the people who are going to be "SEEN" at events. I've met candy kids and plur folks that are nice, but a lot of them are costumed up fakers. Speaking of PLUR all the time and telling people they love everyone. Funny thing though, when I interact with the aforementioned folks they tend to push me out of the way and be disrespectful. Especially club sluts, "Hey bitch, I've been standing here awhile to enjoy the night, not have you push me aside because you have ." |

I think people say what they say about the kandi and plur because its not meaninful anymore, it's a fad. Its hip and cool to talk about and to be seen with. It doesn't mean what it did years ago and now people are just wearing it and saying it, respectively, to be in the cool kids club.

| well theres a difference between the tools wearing i love molly shirts and just people who are generally nice but wear crazy and bracelets. It just seems a lot of people are getting ripped in the cross fire on here. And yeah ive heard tiesto chants before but not 35 straight minutes and then a SEAN TYAS chant, give me a break. |

this thread is going downhill fast. why don't we wait for the line up?
if it's awesome, we can all go and have a great time.
if it sucks, then we can keep complaining.
:realizes this is new york:
:realizes we'll complain regardless: |

seriously though, whats the meaning behind this? all i can think of is you want attention or it's an inside joke between you and your buddies... but in all honesty you just sound like fool, not to mention it's disrespectful to whatever DJ is playing at the time |
