sorry couldn't help it.
But "Under Pressure" comes up on radio every so often, gnash!

SO this is the warm up session of armin. what do you make of this? do you think he is trying to show us that he can keep up with the change and demand in deep house/prog/techno ?
My theory is that he is trying to push his fans to this sound do they can start dominating this as well. Since they are loosing heads with trouse overtake. could they (armada) try to move over deep house ?
01. Asten – Borealis
02. Scotty.A – Nothing As It Seems
03. Darin Epsilon – Shine The Light (Ryan Davis Reconstruct)
04. Cid Inc – Divine (Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile)
05. Baboop and Cid Inc – Split Horizon (Cid Inc Remix)
06. Deepfunk – Black Lemon Trees (Andy Arias Blackmambo Mix)
07. Lessov – Nakali (Original Mix)
08. Incolumis – Point Blank
09. Paronator – No Gravity (Tom Middleton Liquatech Mix)
10. Vitodito & Soulforge Pres. Positiva – Certain Balance (Original Mix)

Take your tinfoil hat off Aldi he's been doing these warmup sets for awhile. I'm sure he gets tired of the music he has to play for large crowds and likes to warm up with some chill prog and deep house. It's not a conspiracy ;)
And even if this is a sign that he wants to get involved in that genre who says it has to be a bad thing? Look at Anjunadeep.. Jody Wisternoff and Dusky don't have AnB fans overtaking their shows or anything despite being on their deep label.

Armin has been doing those proggy warmups for a long time now. I think it is to show the old school fans that he still rocks it with good tunes. I appreciate it for what it is. At least he's giving us something, unlike the other cockbags who completely abandoned their fans.

no way. i will always be skeptical of this guy, markus and ferry. they have driven trance to the ground. after people getting tired and moving on to uplifting trance and other genres , Armin tried to cash in with his "whos afraid of 138" as he realized that a new trend of "team 140" is growing bigger and bigger. but he failed massively since his armada range lacks talents on that area. what do they got on that range nowadays : aly&fila, joc, giuseppe? the same talent they have had for 5 yrs now.
and if you notice. more and more deep house . deep prog and deeper side of techno (think moonbeam) are showing up in their playlist or top 15 of each month.
so yeah.. they are def pushing all over again.

That's why I'm curious what his set is going sound like this weekend, avb is part of the who's afraid of 138bpm lineup... Is he going to speed up 'in and out of love' or play a legit set?
CarS, everybody knows 'under pressure' is a rip off!!

yea its gonna be interesting. sort of like a classics theme imo for him
he will play like he once did years ago for 1 night and then go back to his new style for the other gigs

:(
on a related note, too much music goes relatively unnoticed because they're not tracklisted by the usual suspects. it goes for radio shows and live sets. plenty of good music on reputable labels gets zero public response because armin, above & beyond, or whoever else don't have their name all over it via their radio show.
sucks, i wish this scene would move away from the reliance on DJ playlisting. too many people making quality tunes that don't really see the light of day because the trancefamily is more like ASOT/ABGT/Armin + top 20 DJ circlejerk family. these guys aren't growing their own fanbases like they need to, instead they're just contributing to that of those who are playlisting it.

"everybody" is absolute, please enlighten "everyone".
You're reading into my comment anyway, I meant it in the sense:
