I think his comment about the new EDM is more about the scene and not the actual music. I'd agree it is interesting to watch the EDM scene boom and evolve.
As for ASOT, he plays a good mixture of "cheesy" trance and more proper trance.
At some point you need to accept the fact that its not 10 years ago anymore and like someone else who fits your tastes better. |

i dont know the ticket prices or anything but just the whole venue/lack of quality trance dj's/short sets is just a big scam
yea maybe msg holds more people but i would rather 2 nights at pier 94
let one night be more dedicated to the current line-up and the next would be more geared toward the more underground trance so many of us want to hear
8pm-1am? yea i know 1 hour sets are nothing new but the party is over so early and they will prob do an after party with the same dj's and they will play the same songs at the afterparty lol
kudos to made and armin for putting together a lackluster but sucessful event |

Exactly... I found floor seats first and then did another search... five minutes later floor seats are sold out.
I almost contemplated not buying tickets at all but I already bought my gf and I plane tickets weeks ago.

I was "lucky" enough to get 2 floor seats, but it says section 3 (which looks pretty far from the stage) and row 10... I think you need to have a Chase credit card to get the standing room on the floor. What a JOKE. I'm curious to see what they raise the tickets to at noon.
ASOT450 was nothing like this, it's really frustrating... I'll probably end up selling my tickets on Craigslist to some rich candy kid now that I know it'll be over at 1am. |

Yeah I was trying to figure out how the hell you get standing room on the floor. I didn't realize that you had to have a CHASE credit card. BS. |
