surely in that case then you're entitled to a refund since you're not getting what you paid for. ( a flight at a particular time... ) under fair trading (or maybe trade practices). |

Don't think so cos the flight is being rescheduled.
If it was being cancelled, yes.
A reschedule = still getting the service, so no refund.
But i'll check and make sure obviously. I'm sure if I looked in the terms n conditions it'll have a line saying something along the lines of "Tiger Australia reserves the right to alter schedules" or something along those lines, flight schedules are changed fairly often, not usually by 6 freaking hours though, so I'm sure they've got a way of getting around it. |

T&C's don't over rule fair trade/trade practices. your contract is for the flight at that particular time. if they're gonna change that contract, you should have an opt out ;) just like when ISP's tried to force people to change plan without having an opt out of their contracts - ACCC stepped in and made fix ;) |

I just waded through 8 pages of T&C's
At the very back it says if the flight time is changed by more than 4 hours you can be rebooked, credited or refunded.
They don't actually tell you about that when you are notified of the change and its at the very end of the T&C's (its not anywhere on the website either). So yeah peeps, keep it in mind if the same happens to you.
Ringing tomorrow and getting my money back:)
Even had I not found that I was going to ring tomorrow and if I didn't get it resolved my next call would have been to Consumer affairs anyway;) |

So about a year ago I made a post here about how I hated people who decide to listen to their music on the train using the loudspeaker of their phone.
It happened again today.
I'm sitting there and from behind me I hear the start of that house rnb song with that nouma song or whatever it is. After about 20 seconds the song changes to bloody Lady Gaga (and everyone knows how much I love her:rolleyes: ).
I stand up and turn around to get off the train at the next stop expecting some ditzy bird listening to it,

happened on the way back from fkn stereosonic when i was stuck in a corner of a tram, some ugly little wannabe superstar started playing some rihanna/beyonce bull and i wanted to kill her.
