17% on all isn't too bad though ;) and the rates didn't stay that way for long.
as long as you can afford to service the mortgage and are prepared to hold onto the property through possible market "corrections", generally the price of housing always goes up. |

Its all relative though because back then the average mortgage was all compared to these days.
I hate Wizard for putting my rate up more than the .25% from the Reserve Bank. Must need more cash to sponsor Collingwood i suppose. |
