| I hate travelling for 70 mins every ing morning because of traffic!! ing !! It would only take 30 mins without it. I have to drive to work becuae I have no choice. Why don't you other useless ****s who work in the city catch the goddamn train and stop clogging up the ing road!!! |

dude, first year chicks are awesome. At my uni, we get a lot of the private school girls, dressing to impress when they first start. clueless and naive. then they find beer and just wear trackies in to uni by 2nd year.
oh well, only a couple months left for me, then an 8 month break! :) |

lol, I was spewing the other day when it took me 30 mins instead of 15 to get to work.
To get to the city is a 5-10 min bus trip, or a 45 min walk ;) (awesome for stumbling home drunk) |

agreed about the beauracracy/politics, its shocking.
But the other advantage of first years and o-week is all the bbqs that are on, free lunch every day cos I stroll up and say I'm teaching staff. Works every time for Biotech/Pharmacy/PharmSci bbqs. |

Man it's classic observing first years. Now by 4th year I'm so ing relaxed and couldn't give a about anything, but they are all dressed up as nice as they could be, bring all their books, are nice to everyone and go to every single possible class, even turning up early.
Ahahahahahahha, they will realise what suckers they were when they are 2nd year and see the new 1st years :stongue: |

I'm not leaving ;) got 2 months left of honours, then employed as a researcher for rest of year, then PhD next year :)
As long as I'm done by the time I'm 30, I'll be happy (5.5 years to go!). |
