| I hate people that talk during lectures. You try to be as polite as possible when you tell them to keep quiet, but they just keep talking.. |

I hate image whores who think theyre cool when they slut themselves to buzz words.
Eg. "progressive trance" - they have nfi what it is but they like it cause it has the word "progressive" in it, therefore making them some kind of super cool clubber. Then they try to say progressive as many times as they can when they're talking to you, just to make sure that you know they mean business.

I hate The Olympics.
Although, not entirely.
I hate all the crap surrounding it - how its incorporated into every adversitement - the over use of Cathy Freeman (she runs around in a ing circle - come on) and other athletes.
They are good athletes - noone can deny that - but to place them high in social standing in Australia for DOING NOTHING THAT BENEFITS SOCIETY (besides entertaining us) is utterly ridiculous.
Maybe my real hatred is of the religious nature of sport in this country, and the olympics just highlight the fact - that we really have nothing better to do or achieve than to sit and watch people chase a ball or run faster than someone else.
Its only ever after an athlete has succeded as an athlete will they ever contribute back to soceity (they have enough spare cash now) - and i really dont care how much they and thier family had to sacrifice FOR PERSONAL GAIN.
Anyway, I will watch the olympics, but after a medal has been one and all pats on the back are done (that is, the medal ceremony) - i really couldnt give a about whoever won it - but i know I will be bombarded with replays and articles saying just how great a person they are for throwing a javelin further than anyone else, and I know that most of society will be impressed by that. s. |

Olympics has its negatives and positives.
When we had it in Sydney, Americans came over and thought they owned the f-uckin place. Like taking my seat in a bus I always catch, and some pricks from NBC telling me to move out of the way on a footpath. I had so much hatred with the yanks I had a scuffle with a Canadian as I mistook him for an American! :toothless:
There are positives of the Olympics, but they belong in the LOVE thread  |
