yea wisdom teeth are BAD....got all 4 out a few weeks ago, though id get all out of the way, but little did i know :nervous: and the bleeding, the bleeding. the pain would have been alright without the bleeding. and i swelled up like a fat kid on cake
and what is screwed is that some people dont even develop wisdom teeth.....:whip: |
Im booked in for thursday week. All 4 are coming out, 2 are a straight extraction (piece of piss for the surgeon) the other 2, well lets just say easier extractions have been done...:p
The fact that there coming out and that its gonna be a world of pain for a few days after doesnt really worry me its the fact that this whole exercise is gonna cost me $1500, and thats getting it done in the chair with a local (i can take a lot of pain for $1000 - so the general anaesthetic!)....:whip: :whip: :whip:
Its a good thing o wont be able to eat much for the days after - i wont be able to afford food anyway!! :whip: :whip: :whip: |

That's pretty brave mate .. though not as macho as someone I know who had his vasectomy with only a local anaesthetic  |

VERY brave! don't know anyone whos had all 4 out (even if all 4 will be standard straightforward extractions) and hasn't gone under GA.
i went under GA when i had all four of mine out. couldn't eat for a week or so, icecream became my best friend, that along with pumpkin soup :)
pretty peeved when i came to and asked for my wisdoms to keep in my tooth jar at home to be told that they'd already been disposed of as it wasn't their 'policy' to allow people to take them home. :whip:
my biggest current hate!:
- poor drivers on roads & in carparks!!
