Wow, are you serious? Do you even know how that system works? I really don’t think you do.
About the SIU
The SIU is a civilian law enforcement agency, independent of the police, that investigates circumstances involving police and civilians which have resulted in serious injury, including sexual assault, or death. Part VII of the Police Services Act creates the SIU and defines its powers.
Independence
The SIU is independent of any police service. The Unit reports to the Attorney General, however the SIU’s investigations and decisions are also independent of the government. The Director of the SIU is empowered under the Police Services Act with causing criminal charges to be laid against police officers where warranted on the basis of the evidence gathered during an investigation.
Civilian Oversight of Policing
Although unique in model, Ontario’s SIU is part of a worldwide movement on the part of governments aimed at enhancing mechanisms of police accountability. The SIU’s motto: Independent Investigations, Community Confidence.
What is with people and their conspiracies here? |

So far my experience with Toronto police has been rather pleasant. After decadence 2006 we were trying to get to our hotel and my friend took the wrong way down a one way at about 10 am. We were pulled over and the car smelled of weed. My friend had taken an abusive amount of E that night and his face was slightly purple, eyes bugged, etc.
I lived in New York at the time so maybe they don't bother with US citizens because of your NY plates but the cop was really chill and had us follow him to our hotel which was right down the street.
If this had happened in the states he would have been at least ticketed if not jailed and the cop would have had a K9 unit come out. |

THE TRUTH!
Okay guys, here goes, this is KKESAEKRFJSOEKKA account of what transpired on June 29th 2007 at approximately 1:15 a.m at Repulik nightclub.
I was enjoying my fresh just out super commercial house beats minding my own business when all of a sudden 1000000000000000000000000 septillion full armoured decked out ETF officers stormed in with guns blasting!!!! I was beside myself. They came into Republik and started opening fire without ANY warning! Luckily, I was behind a person of larger body proportions who kindly intercepted the on coming fire. My heart and prayers go out to his family *single tear rolling down cheek*.
After that the crowd just went into delirium! They started attacking the cops and tearing their heads off with their bare hands. The smell of blood was everywhere! I almost got caught up in the rage. With the little restraint I had left I managed to run and hide in the V.I.P area. A decision I would soon come to regret *another single tear rolls down cheek*.
BANG! SMASH! CLASH!....BREAK? ZAPP! ZOOM!
(Inserted a variety of screams here)
The true sound of violence!
I was too afraid to open my eyes, but I knew I had to get an accurate account of everything arising. It took everything I had to open my eyes, but I somehow managed. I opened my eyes to see everything I could imagine going on. The optics paralleled the cacophony. I can’t tell you what I saw at this moment because the memories are still to painful *reaches for napkin* plus they could impede on an ongoing investigation.
After the ETF had tired from their ‘training’ on live subjects - I was freed! I quickly ran like a tiger in the night looking for a place to hide. I found comfort in a hooker… I mean my friends arms outside and cried like a 13 minute year old.
I can’t really remember all of what happened but from what I was TOLD it was horrifying. I don’t wish what I heard happen, happen to anyone *blows nose in napkin*.
As more of this comes to the forefront of my psyche I will tell the tale of Repulik the midsummer massacre!
p.s some of this might be exaggerated . |

Half of the SIU are former cops.. Moreover, they are currenly being investigated by the government. The report should be out in early November

Which post exactly should I read again in your opinion? Perhaps we should start again from the point where you initially suggested that Jay's position was biased, completely exaggerated and entirely hearsay...

I was downstairs at the time and saw the ETF enter. However I was not upstairs where all the commotion allegedly took place.

Your reply: ( in BIG BOLD LETTERS):

Hearsay evidence is useless in the eyes of the court.

Completely exaggerated. I was there man. This is NOT how it happened. |

The lights where on at that point and the music was off too. I could see clearly and hear what was happening.

And later…

1) You were the one who initially stated that, "you were there", eluding to the fact that you had a vantage point which provided you a more comprehensive take on the event, yet somehow, you ended up on the main floor a few replies later. It was this exact position which Jay’s apparent “hearsay” accusation was based. Only difference is that Jay apparently works in the DJ booth, which is located about 20 feet off of the floor positioned where you would have observed everything. Considering that you could, “see clearly and hear what was happening”, I feel that it’s reasonable to conclude the following:
a. Jay was in a better position than you to observe and listen to what occurred in the VIP area because he is on higher ground and would be able to observe exactly as you did.
b. If Jay’s account is biased and hearsay, then your account must also be subject to the same.
2) How can you make the claim that, “This is NOT how it happened”, and then follow up stating that you did not observe all of what happened?
Regardless, I'll take your suggestion to heart and put forth more effort in the future when it comes to comprehending your inconsistencies. |
