Well 2 of my friends sold their bikes because their insurance wsa over $6k/yr, and neither of them have any accidents or infractions on their records. It's just ed for guys under 25 on a sportbike.

Not to be mean...but..What the hell were they thinking.
There is only one place to get bike insurance...STATE FARM. Everyone else will rape you and charge $5K +
All other insurance companies ask what kind of bike it is. As soon as they hear its supersport...the rate goes through the roof.
State Farm however only asks how many CCs..thats it.
This is for a 600CC bike
Under 25 (with no infractions) - $110/month
Over 25 (with no infractions) - $60/month
For a 1000CC+ It is not much more.
However, get even one ticket...you rate will double.

This would be fun to do. I've been looking around to find some cruises to go on, or some car clubs around the area haha.
I'm actually crusing up to Grand Bend this Sunday with like 10 - 15 other cars for the CSCS (Canadian Sporty Compact Series, I know I know lol). There's drifting though, people racing on the drag strip, a show and shine, DJs, bikini contest lol, and a bunch of other stuff. Something to do on a Sunday. Hopefully I'll see someone wreck their car while drifting :D lol
