nice pics! :toocool: armor all the tires, though, plz. and I believe you could get a little more shine out of those rims, if I'm not mistaken (I know they're matted gunmetal and all) but I don't believe you gave enough love to the shoes :(

Haha...yeah man I know I know...I actually ran out of tire shine that same day I washed it to take pics. I was pretty pissed off about it but I did end up grabbing some more. Funny thing was the vending machine beside the wash was sold out of the single use ones.
As for the rims...sometimes I get so much brake dust on the front tires it is even hard for the pressure washer to get it off. I get down on my knees and scrub the hell out of them too. Its tough work...but I agree with you %100.

I bought special aftermarket front brake pads, PBR Deluxes. They're well known for the German luxury car market because of how much front brake dust there is on Audis and BMWs...check to see if you can get a pair for your Lexus. You can thank me later ;)
And please don't ever imagine in your wildest fantasies that a pressure washer will get brake dust off LMAO, that just for making it wet so you can use your special designated rim cleaning sponge and normal car shampoo (use a separate bucket of the shampoo for rims so when you stick the sponge back in for more soap you're only dirtying the rim-cleaning-designated shampoo). I use the same Meguiar's (sp?) shampoo for the car body as for the rims. It's all about technique...maybe we should do a group wash sometime? lol ghey.

~3800lbs. Curb weight will do that. :) Mine get filthy.

What's so special about PBR? They aren't any better than your average Carbotech or Hawk. In any case, yeah, any AM ceramic based pad will significantly reduce the amount of brake dust.
