Firstly, why would you fake plastic? What would you make it out of?

Secondly, it is probably carbon fiber, for a car like that.

Lol smartass, you know what I was referring to. I'm just not down with the whole mesh textured plastic molding. I always thought of it to be a non-functional design short-cut...not to mention it makes potentially good looking cars come off as cheap. Kinda like this one:

(note the "fake" mesh to the side and above)

you know, as cheap as it is, and awful as it drives - that sky is still a good looking car, but completely useless nonetheless.

That is the only saturn that ever looked decent. Better looking then that pontiac solstice - which is exactly the same.

I'd go with the S2000 over the 350Z for reliability alone. Back when I was still looking at used cars, I was shocked at the number of people trying to offload their Zs for next to nothing because they had some kind of major problem or got damaged. It's a fun car for sure, I think it looks better than the S2000, and obviously I'm a Nissan fan in general, but there's just something wrong with that model.

Edit: Also, this was all the way back in 2004, but there was a dude in our apartment complex who owned a 350Z and it was always in the shop. It was almost funny.

Just a sidenote, for any one looking for a car, stay away from prestigemotors!!!!

Yeah, they're all US imported cars.
mdiddy
No it's not even that.

I don't even find anything wrong with imported cars, but they just have some business practices that are just worth staying away from.

Yes indeed, details please.

For instance 99% of their cars HAVE been in accidents or something of like and the body HAS been re-painted. So if your looking for anything authentic, that is not the place. Also it would be wise if you go in with a mechanic to check the car out for you - I've been there multiple times and witnessed cars coming back on flatbeds because they bought it a few days ago and something went horribly wrong.

Also, they have the utmost awful pricing scheme, where they not only charge you roughly $2000 in fees, but they also make you pay for the shipping and duty taxes when they bring the car over (which the DEALER should cover).

anyway, just my .10 about that place, hoping none of you go through any horror with them.
