Good old Ken Block. I'm surprised these haven't been put up sooner actually. The snowboarding one has been around for a while (it was part of the DC MTN Lab DVD that was released I think in '07 or something). The ridiculous one with all the stages in essentially an aircraft hangar and surrounds has been around for a bit too.

I guess when you're the co owner or some such of DC shoes, you can afford probably one of the most ridiculously kitted out Subaru's and thrash it about all you want.

What I want to know is who taught him how to drive like that.

A lot of tires, transmissions, differentials, drive-shafts, suspensions to waste will get you there. Practice makes skill.

Although I'm not a big fan of drifting on dry road; snow/gravel/dirt are the things I'm beating on mastering this year and the next.

Dry road afterwards when I build a lighter car or crack up the power on the current project

Honestly, most of these are pretty lame, IMO. Besides the gymkhana practice, the rest have been around for a while, and really don't show much skill. Big whoop, tearing a subie up on a ski hill.

True. I suppose I should've phrased my question as "How did Ken Block get so good? Was it purely practice, or did he get some tips from someone?"

I suppose it depends how much you like the snow :p
Considering Ken Block has combined two of my favourite things, I'm sold.

That being said, I haven't watched this clip specifically, but I've seen the entirety of the clip on the DC MTN Lab DVD, and there's some insane control Ken Block is pulling out. Have a look for the bit where he drifts around past one of the snowboarders who sticks his ass out. The car's like a foot away from the dude's ass. I initially thought it was a fluke, but after watching the gymkhana vid, it's gotta be the driving skill.

thats actually kinda cool...

but i bet would be cold to touch in the winter and hot as in the summer...

the only buggin part of the design imo is the front fenders stretching from end to end...shouldve at least made it a consistent width...,
zoogla
although not as pronounced, the front fenders being wider than the rears is a popular aggressive style (and I like it ;)):
