Well, at least I am not an to everyone like you are. What are you 16? 18? I don't know the difference, anyways the age factor doesn't matter but it's clear you get no more carnal pleasure in your life than demeaning people with you limited vocabulary of four letter words. I would seriously consider a position as an intern with Vlad the impaler or something where you can serve as a test subect for getting long sticks shoved up your behind while you die a slow grueling death. I'm sure you would like that.

That wasn't nice dude. Anybody would be a bit perturbed at your rudeness. Maybe it's a Guatemalan tradition. Or lack-of-tradition. Or maybe just lack of class.

fine damnit, let's end this quarelling debate about kitty- already. We both have something in common, we both like the music of Alexander Coe, so let's leave it at that. I'm not posting to this thread anymore.

I find it hilarious that you dare to speak about class for the n-th time on this thread after posting this a few pages back:

but still...

I've been listening to GU promos for years, supporting all GU music, bought just about every GU ### release and have every Sasha CD he released. But still unable to hear the promo because the hands of the few (on this messageboard and elsewhere) won't simply post the MP3 to a webserver and post a link.

Thanks.

Well done ;)

What I came across was a link to this on a blog, which included the 133MB set and a .gif file showing a tracklist, there was no user agreement, "do not circulate" or "do not post" material anywhere. It appeared this was a public promo put out by GU to anyone who was willing to hear it. It does have the voices (GU promo copy) on the file, but they are sparse and not often. Set is 256KBit and 72:35 in length. Again, from the tracklist that came with it, there was nothing indicating that this was a private/non-public seed of the promo, and it surfaced around August 24th. That's all I know.

Mate, people have to pay for cds. Thats how it works. They don't just post it for anyone who wants it for free. How they gonna make money doing that? You really are stupid if you believed otherwise...

having listened to the cd a lot of times, I can say it is growing a lot on me... first few tracks are great, with the middle being somewhat less appealing. Expected more from Charlie May & Apparat.

But with Home Video it picks up, and it doesn't stop there... Thom Yorke = amazing and Ladytron is super!

Will become a favorite this year

Prodcution wise it's wicked, you understand why this guy works with an armada of producers and engineers. Musically i loved the dark flow from the beginning to Ladytron, couleurs is also great, but Yorke track somehow isn't really appropriate, the same goes with Home video yet if you listen to all tracks individually, i think you will find that he did the best job with that track. Of course this album won't have the impact of the first one and i honestly think it's natural but it remains a very nice compilation, one of the best from 2008.

I believe! This is a great GU promo.

I have a theory to be proven/disproven. Suppose that this has been circulated around the head honchos for a few months. Would that make it an album promo, or could it possibly be that this is the production that he played live @ the WMC Exclusive Invol2ver Party?

I only make the juxtopostion to get out the true reason GU promos are a little different from the real albums[voice overs/ shorter length/ bit changes]. If this one is just that, a performance he had done after the fact[I2 completion], then wouldn't it make the promo a liveset? that was mogrified to promo form?

this is just a speculative question

i hope we can get the true PROMO Info.
