I have different opinions about invol2ver and think it's good and bad at the same time.

When I listen to it while comparing it to involver 1, I think differently, when I listen to it without thinking about I1, I really enjoy it.

In that way, I find it hard to ditch involver 2 or just talk down about it.

However, this album has it's highs and lows (since nothing is perfect) & I have the power to critic it.

So yea, don't expect me to blindy go YAY, I'm not a DJ worshipper.

Although they are a huge part of the concept of this mix, it is completely irrelevant what the originals were. It is important how they were re-made and how each and every track fits into the mix, not if they are better or not or how they sounded before. I actually never listened to the originals and really don't care. All I care about is how the mix turned out and I don't think that my opinion would change if I heard them.

Aside from 1 or 2 tracks, I never heard the original tracks on the first Involver and I still think it is a masterpiece and one of the best crafted mixes ever made.

That's because music back then still had major awesome quality.

I mean, Petter, Shpongle, Unkle

Nonetheless, look at my post above, invol2ver is crap when you compare it to I1......

However, the biggest highlight about I1 was how Sasha changed the originals to keep the theme going, and how mind blowingly he mixed them.

Only five tracks from the album are currently available unmixed (four can be purchased individually, the Ladytron remix only as part of the package as a whole). The others will follow over the coming weeks.

Yeah, and that five track package costs me only 12,45 eur + tax 1,87 eur (total 14,32 eur) making it more expensive than the original Invol2ver cd delivered to your home (12.49 eur from play.com)... What a ing rip-off. Well, hopefully I can buy that Telefon Tel Aviv as an individual track soon cos that's the only track I really want unmixed.
