for the longest time, I HATED this track
Now its one of my favorites of his remix/edits. The style is self explanitory!
"DO YOU FIND ME ATTRACTIVE"
all together Involver & I2 played b2b are a great 2&1/2 hour experience! |
It's "cyberwhore" not "sideshow whore." |

| The Home Video track is the only one that stands out for me on this album. The rest isn't bad, but it's not in the same league as Involver. |

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this. I was expecting it to be a huge disappointment, as most of what Sasha's been putting out recently just isn't my kinda thing anymore. The Emfire stuff is just emotionless noise to me, which is a shame given how he's been my favourite DJ for the past 10 years.
However, i really enjoyed this mix. Like most have said, it does get kinda dull in the middle section, but the opening & ending are superb & the more i listen to it, the more i like it.
It was never gonna top the original (which is still, along with GU009 my favourite mix cd ever) but it's a damn good follow up. |

This cd is freaking awesome. Sasha never fails to sound fresh and new, so many miles ahead of the scene for so many years.

Charlie May - Midnight :eyes:
This track blows me away. The rest of the CD is decent and definitely above average... but nothing else on the album comes close to this (and it doesn't compare to I1). Either way, very happy to have the extended mix of Midnight on CD2! :) |

Even though the second disc is sequenced and not unmixed.. |

Yes, even still. It's definitely more than holding me through. Is this getting a single release? |

dunno if i'm bumping an old thread but i didn't have the chance to comment on this until now
it's well done, i think it did a decent job of living up to the hype. it makes me think of sasha's (imo forgetable) emfire works, but done well. the telefon tel aviv track is ing sick and starts the album out well.
one thing i didn't like about the original involver is how after "dorset perception" the energy of the mix really went down until "watching cars go by". involver 2 had a good pace throughout. when i first listened to it i kinda imagined involver 1 & 2 being produced at the same time, but involver 1 being the chill breaky disc and involver 2 being the clubby disc.. meh.
i can't think of anything i didn't really like about the album.. i suppose the ladytron track was subpar, but that's because i didn't like the chopped up vocals. |

| yea I dont like the ripperton styled wum wum bassline in Destroy Everything...been done to death over the past 2 years. The track at 30 minutes, which I believe to be Charlie May - Midnight is sick, 3 piggies is sick, and the Tel Aviv track is awesome too :) |

the triplet bass or whatever? just as overdone as the offbeat bass right. the main thing is it reminded me of coma, for whatever reason.. i dunno. and i hated coma. |
