| Got a chance to listen through this a second time and I gotta say... it was much much worse than the first. :( |

Just noticed this now over at RA. Surprised at how much of Sasha's own material is making the cut. |
and those were the down parts of involver 2
other than that............Fantastic |

couldn't agree more
I don't think this album deserves to be under the involver domain. |

| I agree, it would've been better if Sasha had just left Involver alone, and called this something different - because that's exactly what it is. |

| hmm i dunno i see the connection and evolution of the sound from the first involver. it has simlar qualities, and i may be in the minority but i liked it much more than the first involver. |

like how ?
creativity wise,I can see it
but music and sound wise..... it seems more of an evolution of fundacion and later part of involver 1
but the track selections were A+++++.
I too am enjoying it more than involver 1, just because I haven't tasted good music in yrs. |

I never cared for the first involver either. I definitely enjoyed Involver 2 and Fundacion more. |

Although I see the majority of the criticisms in this thread, I don't don't think Involv2er is a complete disaster like some are making it out to be. I've listened to it three times now, and finding myself enjoying it more and more.
The production does come across too clean in places, and the middle section is a bit flabby (IMO some of Sasha's own tracks take too long to go anywhere, as does the Home Video track), but it's still one of the better releases I've heard this year.
It was always somewhat obvious that Involv2er was never gonna be as good as the first, but that doesn't make it a total dissapointment. |

it just has that epic feel of the first involver. musically it is different but the concept remains. i think thats what we all wanted in the end. it feels darker and more reflective of the sound of today which has obviously changed a lot since 2004.
as for fundacion, that mix felt a lot more all over the place and lackluster imo. dont get me wrong its decent but i share the sentiments of others it, doesnt hold a candle to this. |

fair enough
We all look at things differently
But, I highly doubt this album will become as legendary as involver 1. |

Involver 2 is awesome in it's own right and will stand alone as a good album. That being said, it does not have the magic that the first one has. The track selection, transitions, and eclectic styles make the first involver absolutely stunning to me. I see it as one continuous piece of music, rather than a bunch of tracks mixed together. I have listened to involver 2 approx. 6 times, and for me, it doesn't hold a candle to the first one.
There are some absolutely killer tracks on Invol2ver. You are the worst thing in the world, that you might, and destroy everything you touch are amazing. Some of the best tunes I've heard in awhile. |
