wait, is there some sort of unwritten rule that these compilations have to *strictly* feature the work of others? i understand theres a concept behind involver to remix tracks but do we really want the exact same product as involver 1? id much rather have him change it up a bit.
why not let the man try something different by including some of his own songs? look back on his compilations and you'll rarely see his work featured on there so its not as if whores himself out at every opportunity (like some other names)... |
That would be great if "his own" work was anything other than complete ing as of late.
The idea he launched into countless explanations of for the first one was great - and I also thought continuing that was really the point of doing a second one of these.
Sad to see it isn't. |

| Whatever guys... It's Airdrawndagger 2 mixed with some Involver...it's all good. I'm just happy something is coming out from him. |

| The whole thread up until this point has pretty much summed up the entire discussion that will continue from now until long after this is released. I'll be staying away from these threads, save for posting my eventual review. You kids have fun beating a dead horse. :) |

To be fair, you would be happy with anything that has Sasha's name on it.
It could be an hour of him farting and you'd think it was brilliant. |

its a bit of an exaggeration to call it complete . i thought coma was great. especially the version featured on his soundtrack album (along with the rest of the songs on there). and who killed sparky was a nice club track as well. park it however was completely lackluster. so 2 out of 3 ain't bad. regardless of what we think of them lets bear in mind that none of those songs will be making it on the compilation.. |

It's not an exaggeration if I think they are complete ;)
Only thing worth much of anything at all was Slam's remix of Coma. |

I liked Mongoose (and the Guy J rmx). The rest however, suck.

+1 Fahrenheit Fair Enough is a great album. I just listened to that sample though, and I don't really know what to think of it. Its not their usual style. |

Not entirely. I do enjoy some of his work, but also dislike a lot of it. His recent EP release on emFire I didn't like as well as the emFire collection, and usually with recent sets, it's usually hit or miss. Believe it or not, I didn't like the Bonnaroo set everybody loves. I have given posts of dislike in the past. I do follow him rigorously along with Digweed but still criticize his work, if I don't like it.
It might be a big deal to some with all his productions, but at least give it a chance. |

apparently i never did understand then. i thought it was just a mix. i have the CD...never really bothered to read the inside flap and get "involved" with how/why he made it.
edit,
also, i noticed that the tracks had a "sasha involver mix" but tiesto has "magikal remake" of his own stuff too...
*insert "BUT SASHA IS NO TIESTO OMG YOU CAN'T COMPARE OMG LOSER OMG* comments next* |
