Thank you Sasha & COMA Team!!

This cd is incredible, when these guys touch the music, it becomes so pure & atmospheric!

From the beginning to the end of the record, multiple combo of tones & effects, sometimes a dark mood also glides on this, and its a storm of sensations that we invaded!

Very fine moment of listening!

I can't give Involver 2 full marks when comparing to the first one because the second one doesn't have the bassline from the Belong remix.

That still is my favourite part of the cd, you wait 28 minutes and then it all comes warping in. It stil stops me in my tracks when I hear it.

Compare the involver 1 remix of belong track to the original. That is what I see involver as. Taking something and putting it somewhere else. The only time this happens on the new cd is with the Ladytron tune.

sasha's mix of M83 - Couleurs is money

Finally had the chance to give it a couple listens...and I realize Sasha's sound just really doesn't do it for me anymore.

There are some standout tracks..."Coleurs," "Sometimes I Realise" and "Midnight" were my favorites. But everything else just sounds kind of similar and gets pretty boring at parts imo. Its not a bad album, just kind of a let down.

Original Involver ftw.

Gotta say I really like the "Gas Tank" remix as well; I'd like full versions of CD2 please :p

Also... a bit unrelated, but does anyone know if the Involver edit of The Youngsters - Smile was ever released/if it's available digitally anywhere? Been trying to hunt that down for ages!

I'd love to get it too... as far as I can tell it was only given out as a promo:

Amazing cd!
I've never really been in to Sasha. So I had to give this, hm, well a couple of listens at home... and a couple on my mp3 player back and forth to work. It was only then I actually started to like it... and shortly after I was hooked.

However only after a single listen... I could objectivly say this was a good cd. Afterall... there had to be some truth in all the fuss it had.
The mixing... the buildup... trackorders / choices. Obviously not a five minute job in Ableton.
Or to put it like this... it obviously wasn't recorded infront of a beautiful ocean view in Asia? :haha: Nah j/k, I love ISOS7 too :) (I'm not sure if that's a smart thing to say in a Sasha thread though... ah well, n/m).

Favorite tracks:
Telefon Tel Aviv, Apparat, Ladytron, M83 (massive tracks!)
Also 3 Little Piggys and Engineers track are absolutely worth mentioning!
Most of the other tracks are mostly fillers to me... but essential parts... which makes this cd a great journey... and one worth buying!

Finally finished my review:
here.

As with most sequels, not as awesome as the original...But still solid. Anyone else feel like the Sasha vs * tracks were unnecessary?

Haha no worries.

I've been told by a well connected friend I'll be getting a nice birthday present in a few days; here's hoping he's being given permission to send me the track (as I know he has it). :p

upon further listens this album still sounds exceptional, barring the last track. i just can't get into it no matter how hard I try. :/

GREAT CD! I loved how the songs all built up on each other until the very end. Great mixing by Sasha as well.
