Well, I just got back from the Columbus show and I'm happy. I didn't see to much of Oakenfold, but what I saw was good. However, Ferry rocked the house hard. From what I heard before hand, the night was supposed to end at 2:00. He must have played until 4 o'clock though. I don't know if this is normal for Columbus, as I just moved here. I actually ended up going by myself (my friends either had to work, or didn't want to come) so I gave a ticket away when I was walking in. No problem going by myself, met a lot of nice people including a couple of ladies from Pure Platinum :P Ferry signed my ticket stub, but I gave it away, I have lots of stuff signed by Ferry.

whats going on in ohio this saturday?? anything???

No, that doesnt sound normal for Cbus...then again, big-name DJs doesn't sound normal for Cbus either. Last year we had Oakey and that was it to my knowledge. This year has seen a parade of them compared to last.

KT lit the fire (so did the Bass, mmmm) and I honestly did not even register the DJ switches. Ran on Red Bull and water from about 1 on and glad I did, too, because I did realize I was getting a bit too drunk ;) Great night, met a couple new people (Jeff & Liz), and thanks Joe for letting me crash on the couch.

Big pic -- arrow's pointing to me

I've heard a lot of complaining that Oakenfold had a lot of train wrecks, but I didn't think they were that bad... :conf:

By the way - what was the remix of Greece that oakenfold played towards the end of his set?

EDIT - just figured it out myself - was Greece 2005 (DJ Shog Remix)

What a hi-nrg mix! It almost made me myself.

Another question then - what was the remix of the Force of Gravity that was played that night?

Well i must say the show in Cleveland last week was fantastic. I have now seen oakenfold a total of four times and this was my second favorite (first say in WMC 2001) which was fantastic.. I did notice a train wreck or two though but atleast his choice of tracks were good and reminded me of the 2000-01 oakey..

I wish i could have met up with some of you guys but hard knowing who was who once in there. I must give Moda credit too for having a pretty sweet venue! Cleveland definetely has a scene and us here in Cincinnati are really hurting. I'm off to vegas this thursday so i hope i find something worth while out there in regards to Trance...

take care all..
