Ohio Tranceaddicts / Events Thread (pg. 90)

Just wanted to let you Clevelanders know that I will be having my first "gig" next Tuesday. It will be at the bar "City and East" in Coventry. I will be playing a lot of tech/electro/straight up house. I mostly spin prog house, but I don't think it fits the venue. So if you're bored - come out and show some support. There's no cover and the bar is pretty nice. They have a section with couches where you can smoke hookah.
The reason it's on Tuesday is that the owner wants to see if he can attract some EDM crowd. If it works out - I'll be playing on Fridays (it's a really slow day there so he's willing to try something new. |

Thanks! I hope so too. This won't be easy because in a sense, I would have to attract a whole new crowd (on busy nights, it's usually the top40 crowd). Another problem is that I will have to pull off a 4hr set. |

It's right on top of Johny Malloy's. The place looks like a movie theater. it's on the corner of coventry and euclid heights blvd. |

oooooh ok, got it! trying to drag the boyfriend who doesn't like EDM out with me to add a body to the support system! at the very least he'll down some beers with his earplugs in and i can enjoy the beats :) |

you should come up for Christopher Lawrence Saturday before WMC. Easter is the next day so it'll be an easy one for me, no work Sunday! thank you jesus...
it's gonna be a good warm up and CL isn't doing WMC this year so it'll be special :) we'll be able to brag that we got to party with CL the "week of" WMC!!!
lemme know if you're coming up. we have a futon if you need to crash..and a cat that'll lick your arm while you sleep.

Yeah, I manage a sports facility down here, but I don't have quite as much authority as I would like. The owner keeps a pretty tight grip on things.
Actually, I might just take that Saturday off. I've got a friend that lives in Akron that I haven't seen in a while. If I can get a hold of her, I will head up there for the day on Saturday and then over to Cleveland for CL. I dont think I could convince her to go, but it will at least break up the day/trip. Will let you know. |

awesome yea just let me know. i'll def be going cuz i'm off sunday (easter) so send me a text if you're heading up. it'll be nice to put a face to the name ahead of miami. i feel like miami is gonna be one big "blind date" sorta feeling meeting up with people cuz we only know eachother from this board. |
