Hey,
I used to live near Cleveland (living in NY now) -
I'll be visiting for the holidays and was wondering if anyone knows whether anything good is going on while I'll be in Cleveland.

What dates will you be visiting?
Check out www.clevelandnightlife.net for events and such.
It'll be mostly weeklies that will be worth checking out there's some quality stuff.
If you're searching for trance it'll be rather rare. |

hey ohta's! guess what, just got back from a long drill weekend with the army in michigan, only to find out i have to go for 2 MORE WEEKS of training in columbus next week, so i'll be a ghost these next few weeks around cleveland... argh!!

Joe you're coming to Cbus? Stop by say hi, eh~
George Acosta swept into Cbus last night and oooooohhhhh boy, this guy gets my vote for showmanship. He's all about crowd interaction and the DJ booth at Club Redzone is right up on the dancefloor, so he was there slappin hands with a few folks and doing what he could to egg the crowd on. Played quite a few of my favorites, some I never expected...of those I can remember: a mix of Adagio for Strings, New Order - Confusion (from Blade), and a mix of Metallica - Enter Sandman (yeah, holy a brick, I never saw that one coming). All in all, was a great night, though I was disappointed by the overall turnout - which I didnt notice until late because I typically hang out at the front and rarely turn around. |

| DJ Sammy will be in Cbus this coming Friday, 11 Nov, at Club RedZone. Unfortunately I have to work until 1am or I would check this out. Still *might* since I work only 2 blocks away, but I kinda like warming up to a club before the main act hits the decks as opposed to walking in just as he's starting. |

| tuiiiiiiiiiiiiis leaving for c-bus in about an hour, wish there was something going on cos apparently we have the evenings off... we'll still hang out though i have your #, i'm leaving today and i'll be down there until the 18th, i guess we are being put in a hotel for the whole 2 weeks, in whitehall... ttyl! :cool: |

So I learned a lesson...don't judge a DJ by one overplayed tune...DJ Sammy rocked the house tonight in Columbus!
And I run into one of the promoters. I ask him, "hey, you the guy sending me all the emails about events here?" "One of them", he says.
I tell him "hey, you know KT?" "Who?" "kenneth thomas!" "oh yeah, detroit! great guy!"
"You need to get him here. he told me, if you book him, he will come"
"I'm working on it!", he says.
Damn it, he better be telling the truth~ |
