Honestly, Tiesto was one of the more boring ones out of all that I've seen (saw him at Skyy Bar). However:

1.) I try not to judge a DJ/performer based on ONE performance.

2.) Kenneth Thomas is playing too... has never disappointed in the ~5 times I've seen him.

3.) Metropolis = excellent venue

so it should be good times :)

Tiesto rocked it in Detroit when I saw him...though at Metropolis Acosta has reigned supreme over all others I've seen there.

The more the days roll on I'm looking forward to seeing KT more and more from all the great things you guys have said about him and Tiesto is becoming the added bonus that night.

Any ohioans heading up to Toronto this weekend for Labour of Love?
Just had my friend drop out on me, but still heading up solo I think.
Got two tix, two beds, and a car if there are any spontaneous individuals out there in TA land.

Hey guys just a heads up and such, didn't know if anyone has heard or not but groove tickets posted Armin Van Buuren playing at Sugar Bar in C-bus on the 4th of November. Looks like C-bus is getting a huge dose of Trance coming through these next couple of months which is awesome!

Wow...I'll be in Oberlin for a bike ride but should be back in town for that...tired, but ready to party regardless...

But on a Sunday? Oh well, a day off is a day off and AvB is worth one of them.

I couldn't agree more. I'm hoping that KT makes another appearance as a headliner here soon.

Actually i will be headlining Synergy this Saturday (Sept 8th). It will be more of a house/progressive house set compared to what i would play headlining somewhere like Metropolis.

Other than that, theres a tenative date for Dayton in November that we are working on.

You can always check the myspace page for confirmed gigs. www.myspace.com/djkenneththomas

Looking forward to this weekend :) See you guys soon.

Tiesto's performance is directly related to the crowd and venue...if people are boring, he seems to get bored. Of all the times I've seen him and in all of the venues, the late/great Crobar in NYC was always the best. He was face to face with the crowd and seemed to really draw on our energy. Hopefully Metropolis isn't stupid and has the DJ booth near the ceiling or we'll all be snoozing the night away to a melodic un-energic Tiesto set.
How far of a drive is it to Columbus from Cleveland? Armin on Nov. 4th will be the highlight of my new life living in Cleveland...this has got to be the most boring city i've ever been too~~and I grew up in Philly (which I thought was the most boring as far as night life.)
