He's great, a very, very talented DJ. I heard him at Ultra last month and he kicked ass. I really wish I could go, I'm jealous.

OMFG what a show! He was supposed to end at 0230 but we held onto him until almost 0300.
ps - I should NOT have driven...but I did. Stupid me, it will catch up to me (knock on wood), but not tonight!
The crowd was quite enthusiastic...I know C-bus has a market for trance and such, can we get some love?! |

how's it goin trancefall ? damn it has to be like night and day from miami to cinci.....I would say the most trance action going on close to you is in columbus. I havent heard much about cinci, but in columbus there are a handfull of clubs that regularly have great home and international dj's as well.... I can only remember the name of the one place we went...I think it was RedZone...but I saw Paul Van Dyk there for the first time a few years back and it was a great show....who are your fav djs?

Oh yes, quite a switch from Miami to Cincy. Had to get Sirius just to keep up on the trance scene! Tim McMahon plays at Fathom here on Saturday nights, and he's got some great sets, but that's about it. I'm bummin that I missed Christopher Lawrence in Columbus, but it definitely heartening to know that talent comes to Ohio!:cool: And at least I still have roots in Miami, I can get back once every few months to recharge my batteries. Went back for Tiesto on the Bay, PvD at Space, and then Ultra, so I really can't complain too much...;)
I've been listening to trance for 2-3 yrs but still feel like I'm only begining to scratch the surface of what's out there and the amazing talent that's waiting to be found. So I love the big boys: PvD, Tiesto, Armin, Christopher Lawrence, Sasha/Digweed, and I'm starting to dig some of the newer (to me) artists like Whiteroom and GTR (listening to the Dark Side of Armin's State of Trance 2005 as we speak, 3am on the night train at the hospital and all is quiet for now... just tappin my toes to myself).
So C-bus, eh? I'm certainly willing to travel. I'll have to keep an eye out for some good goings-on. What are the clubs in Columbus I should watch (I'll check out RedZone's site)

Look to Global. Steve Porter this coming Friday. Never heard his stuff either...then again, I hadn't listened to Chris Lawrence and that turned out to be a great show. |

| trust me, you don't want to miss porter. he's more on the housey side (which i prefer), but he can tear it up and his productions are fantastic. i'll be driving up from cincy on friday, it's gonna be a good one. |

damn TJ wish i could make it down on friday. steve porter is the ! thats gunna be a great party. i am back living at home now for a month or so because i am in between moving in with my buddy in cleveland heights, so i'm supposed to be looking at houses all day on friday / saturday with him.
