whats up james! woohoo chalk up another ohio TA! :D
all you guys that don't have plans this weekend (or do, for that matter) come on out to cleveland and see kenneth and acosta, the sound at metropolis is outstanding and i know its gunna be great!:) if you want to make a weekend of it kenneth is also gunna be at cloud9 saturday night, so its gunna be back to back KT in cleveland, yaaaaaaa!
we have columbus / cinci TA's representing now you guys make sure to post any upcoming events in the thread here... i will make it south one of these times!

Any big events coming to the ohio area after May 15th ish? My final exams at the university will be done then, and my ing head is going to explode. Engineering is WAY to much work for someone like me who has a life and smokes wayyy too much ganja :) My head is gonna explode if I dont blow off some steam!!!

Josh Wink @ Global in Cbus on the 20th. I've heard the name, but never heard him spin, so I have no opinion on whether he counts as a "big" event or not. I have to work that night, but get off at 2300 and the club is only about 4 blocks away, so I'll be there with time to spare before he takes over.
DJ Skribble @ Global in Cbus on 10 Jun...I've heard one of his CD's and loved it. I'll be there, work permitting. |

Robbin... "Cedar Point" i presume? thats not far from me, in sandusky. when are you coming up? if its a weekend most likely there will be something going down in cleveland.
oh, and Acosta WAS OFF THE CHAIN! Acosta and KT made that easily one of the best club nights in Cleveland yet:D Thanks to TJ (Tuis) AGAIN for coming to cleveland and partying, we were in pretty rough shape after friday night... i partially lost my voice, couldn't hear , and my legs were sore from jumping around all night. A small price to pay for witnessing that madness!! :cool: Did any other Ohio TA's make it out there?? |

Hey jam thanks for the welcome... As far as events down in Cincy I'll make sure to post any news I find out. the scene down here has pretty much dried up though :(
Actually the latest news is the club once called SPY CLUB which changed to Fathom is now called "The Viper Room"

This is known cause if you try to go to the old Fathom website you get a message:
http://www.fathomclub.com/
This means within 1 year this club has been three different venues. SPY was my favorite so we will see what this new one is all about. I have heard the rumors though they are getting away from Trance/Progressive and going to more hip-hop crap.. anyway I'll keep you posted of any news since this was the only club we had in cincy with good beats.. |

Actually this looks like the next event that will be Trance music at this new Viper Room club:
sat/21: DJ Tim McMahon w/Roma [from Russia]
McMahon used to be the Saturday resident at SPY and is worth seeing if already in the Cincy area. I wouldn't really make a trip to cincy for this though. Since McMahon used to play ever Sat night and now it looks like he is getting only once a month this is more of a pit-stop to listen to some good beats.. |
