"GRIND. This is Cleveland's newest, freshest, sexiest and most high profile monthly party to date. Grind takes place on the last Friday of every month at Traffic Nightclub, 1296 West 6th street in the heart of downtown Cleveland Ohio (Warehouse District). Grind is presented to you exclusively by TRU PRODUCTIONS & TIM TYRAN EVENTS. We would also like to recognize our very special affiliates, which are: SPOTCLEVELAND.COM, PERFECTO RECORDS and WANTICKETS.COM. For the past eight years Tru Productions has continually brought you sold out, massive events featuring: Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Deep Dish, Benny Benassi, Gabriel & Dresden and the list goes on and on. Grind is Tru's newest creation along with Tim Tyran Events and the very special group of affiliates involved. On the last Friday of every month Grind will feature international DJ/Producer superstar KENNETH THOMAS as your DJ. Kenneth is PAUL OAKENFOLDS protégé and is also signed to Oakenfolds record label "Perfecto Records". It is a huge treat to be able to come dance, party and get to actually experience the same world-class headliner every month. DJ Kenneth Thomas will take you on a voyage into dance with his distinctive sound of melodic trance, progressive and a disturbingly perfect chunky electro and techno sound. Grind will also feature a different local opening act every month to warm Kenneth up behind the decks. This is a positive avenue for this party, as it will offer an option of diversity and uniqueness while giving the local DJ community the chance to shine! ---All I can say, I'm happy I'm staying in Cleveland...Philadelphia never pulled any decent DJs in let alone someone on point like KT REGULARLY! I had to haul my butt to NYC or ride it out til Miami to get anything other than crappy rap and reggaetone back home. And even then, $40 tickets to get into the club +$100 on drinks +annoying people made the NYC trips not so fun as it was such a project to get there. This is gonna be the lifeline that saves us all from extreme boredom and gray skies in the bitter winter and the anthems for the cool breeze off the lake and long summer nights of dancing! Thank god someone has some faith in this little town... |

I like to keep it simple - stoli cola. Otherwise - kentucky mother****** kicks ass, but there is only one place in Cleveland where you can get it. |

If anyone wants to come to Dayton tonight, it's Fat Tuesday! Oregon District will be hopping. Stop by the Nite Owl to see me and a buddy DJing all night long... we'll be playing progressive and electro house (probably a pretty bangin' set considering the "party crowd" we'll be playing to). Would love to have some fellow T/A's there to meet face-to-face. :)

Hello Everyone - This is Michael from TRU. I am so sorry I have not posted the new monthly "GRIND" party yet. I am glad people heard about it on myspace and all I can say is that the hype on this is unreal. KENNETH THOMAS will be here every month for this monthly party. The kick off is on Friday Feb.29th and the venue is Traffic. All the info. is listed on the flyer and I posted the myspace pages you all should become friends with to stay updated. We will also be doing a ton of big shows at this same venue (Traffic) on top of this monthly party "GRIND". Please look out for the updates on here. Summer is going to be huge, that is all I can say as well as all the big boys are coming through and we are doing a lot of them at an amazing outdoor venue on the water. If you came to our Digweed show last summer, you already know.
Also, please become our friends on myspace to stay updated and the new TRU website will be up by March.

Yeah, I'm stoked. I guess this makes up for the lack of good parties this winter and late fall. Traffic should be full.
PS. Digweed kicked ass. I hope he can come again. He looks like a zombie behind his decks, but damn, he can get the crowd moving. His technique and track selection exceeded my expectations. |

Yeah we had to take Jan. and the better part of Feb. off in Cleveland to get everything tuned for the coming months and summer. We have been cranking the shows out in Detroit and my partner has been rocking it in C-bus. If any are interested, we have Ferry this Friday (Tomorrow) in Detroit @ Bleu.
I see some of you are aware of the outdoor venue that I am speaking of from the Digweed show. i have some awsome pics of that show on my myspace page: www.myspace.com/tazmo9. This summer will be massive in talent, production and sound. Get ready my friends.
