when i saw Armin at Sugar Bar earlier this month it was a really cool vibe. I liked Columbus, for the 2 blocks I saw of it off the highway by the club...it was a really chill vibe and the way people kinda creeped out of the woodwork and showed up at the club on an otherwise empty street was poetic at best. Cleveland has held up well itself. I must say, being a frequent NYC club inhabitant prior to my move to Cleveland, that I enjoy the lower prices, better atmosphere, and more appreciative crowds. I'll never trade my WMC in Miami experiences for anything though...but this is a great "filler" for the rest of the year until March rolls around and we can blissfully plan in the sun and sand of southern Florida.
I wish I could meet more of you sooner. We're all on the same wavelength and seem to genuienly appreciate each and every DJ that comes through a town nearby...even if its a 2 hour drive in the dead of night...pitch black for miles and miles. Its worth the voyage into oblivion.
Gabriel and Dresden will be in Cleveland next week I believe (though it may be a snoozefest based on their previous performances). Who's going? I want to meet some of you fine Ohioners!!! |

| Haven't seen G&D for a while. Tempting. They are always good for some classics, as well some on-the-fly remixes. Gotta work a bit on Saturday, though. I may be too old to pull off a Metropolis, Work, Sugar(Acosta) weekend. Will most likely be a spur of the moment decision based on what type of crowd is expected at Metropolis. |

Doing a road trip to New Orleans with my best friend for Mardi Gras this Feb. Leaving New Orleans On Wednesday Feb 06/08. Looking for a party for the Fri Feb 08/08 any where on our Road trip back home to Toronto. Any suggestions?????

hey guys, haven't been around the thread in a while lately... since i moved and all. i'm so happy to see the dialogue still going though and people posting events! i miss ohio, i really do... not enough to come back, but just enough for it to linger in the back of my mind every now and than ;)
anyways just wanted to let you guys know i'm being deployed, the only one here i've told yet is tuis... who if you don't know is an Iraq veteran also! I posted a thread in the MWTA section if anyone is interested:
