DO IT!!!!

VDubs (get it?) are the best...

Did you ever consider Lease Busters???

You can sometimes find a great situation in there...

Also, I bought my Golf from a dealer on Whitmore Rd in Woodbridge..

I can't remember the name...

WHATEVER YOU DO...

Don't buy from a Persian...

I've bought twice and been shafted both times...

I was going to say maybe it'll make a difference that I'm persian... then thought about it, and persians like f*ckin each other over more so yeah

I'm so confused, I don't know what car to get. I love the Audi's, don't know if I can afford it yet, but maybe a second hand bmw or Subaru or Acura? ughh

such hard decisions lol

In my opinion, it's stupid to buy an Audi, Beamer or Merc unless you can easily afford it. Way too many broke ballers out there. Personally, you could probably have a lot more fun with a good Subaru over the Audi.

Yah I love Persians...

Just don't ever buy a car from one...

I'm telling you guys. Try leasebusters.com...

Ppl on there are desperate...

So after a weekend of wheeling and dealing, I think I found/bought the car I was looking for, a bit more than I expected to spend but I like it!

2006 Mazda3 GT Sedan 2.3L L4 DOHC 16 valves (Black) $13k ALL IN
-5 speed automatic with triptronic
-In dash GPS and Entertainment center
-Loaded to the except leather which I don't really care that much for anyways...
-Car Proof shows no accidents, one owner and registered in Ontario...
80,000 km and from the Car Proof it looks like the previous owner lived in Oakville but worked in Toronto so most that is probably comuting on the highway.
-Perfect interior, clean as !
-Body is good shape, nothing but a few stonechips, some scuff on the front bumper underside.
-17 inch alloys and pretty new tires (still has some of those stubby stringy things on them)

Got it from Downsview, paid the $500 deposit, now they safety it and e-test it, install the indash entertainment/gps unit and new breaks & rotors and oil change.

At that point I can take it a mechanic and if they find anything wrong with it that should have been covered in the safety, or should have been caught by the Mazda inspection at the end of the previous lease they will refund my deposit and I walk... Only way they keep the deposit and I get ed is if I get cold feet or something.

Thier pitch at this place is that they get the cars and don't do to them till there is interest, once someone is interested only then do they do the safety and testing, detailing, etc... to keep the price low they said.

I checked on autotrader and for what i'm getting, seems like a good deal. The Mazda dealership on Dufferin had something similar but more KMs and a 2005 GS and that was going for $13k + taxes and whatever else.

So I think I got a deal, or at the very least, a reasonable price on EVERYTHING I was looking for in my car...

Gotta go back and pick it up on Wednesday for the mechanic and stuff, but i'm fairly certain everything should go well! :D

Just one final question! Anyone know how or who to contact (if you know someone) who can run a VIN through the Mazda system to get/see the service records? I'm sure maybe once it's fully in my name and ownership on Wednesday I could contact Mazda directly, but wouldn't mind checking that out before I sign paperwork... Thanks!

You won't be unhappy with that car...

We loved the one that we had for 2 years...

There's a reason every car at Downsview Auto is so cheap, they're usually run ragged and polished up real nicely, or they're from Quebec originally, where accidents aren't really recorded on the car's history.

That price seems in-line with most others though, so you should be fine.

That is what I looked for, checked the car proof and 1 owner, only registered in Ontario and the insurance renewals all line up with reg too... and no claims.

Still get to take it to a mechanic tho... so fingers crossed that he doesn't find something retarded on it lol
