Who Actually Produces Dance Music/Who Claims To Produce But Doesn't (pg. 11)

There are producers who take 1 month or more to make one beautiful track. How could these types of tracks be played live? Perhaps the lead and a pad or two could be.
I don't think the intent here is producers who have a mastering house master a track. It seems that in the electronic scene, there have been numerous DJs who understand that they must produce to get gigs, so they hire or somehow get others to do nearly everything for them production wise and then slap their names on the tracks. |

Both of them has sucked since they split up |

times change, but one would think in this age of highly accessible digital technology and information that a DIY culture would thrive.
Unfortunately it seems that people instead are just lazier than ever, and that everyone thinks that they are entitled to be a famous, successful, or talented person. |
Yeah. There are DJs who feel they do not have to learn to understand music production, but can hire ghost writers to do it for whem.
Some lie, deceive, and brag, and never give credit to the person who did 90-100% of the work. |

What has Anders released solo since the split? He disappeared. Ice Beach was great! |

Of course you cannot directly compare the two, but it's still amazing to me how big of an issue the whole producer thing is to people - especially the ones who seem to think it's some sort of a big secret. |
I spoke with this girl named Riley Warren in Miami, and she had only been producing like a few months, and her sound is like a real professional. She is a new DJ on the scene, yes, but I don't know how DJs who have been producing a few months can sound like producers who have been producing 7-10 years.
Maybe she is a major musical prodigy. |

Do you know about her, or ar you just saying that? Check out her myspace page, and see what you think. If she can produce that well in a few months, she should be a top progressive trance producer within weeks. |

No. I used to work with Anders on projects (as mentioned before, try check all the credits on the tracks). And the change in sound since then, was because of a change in sequencer, from reason to vst based ableton. |

| Paul Van dyk wrote Just Be for Tiesto as a birthday present. Dont bother asking for proof, I've got sources who are very well known in the scene |

| I've heard Tiesto's dad hired Tiesto's mom to produce Tiesto. Don't bother asking for proof, I've got sources who are very well known in the scene. |

I believe you might produce now, but Anders was pretty much doing the productions for you, Nik, and you know it. If you want we can get Anders in here to clarify, but I don't think you would want that. |

Great to see the same joke being recycled about 5 times already. |
