i just cant even come close to believing that, even after all this is said, tranceaddict still can't produce the industries most in-the-know, creative, most affluent, technically efficient, marketing genius, most popular, and "coolest" ing DJ ever.

... or at least a good manager / agent.

why is that?

Someone doesn't need to be a chef to have a good taste in food. One may therefore come to the conclusion that someone does not need to be a producer/dj to have a good taste in music.

On Topic:

Posting random rumours and saying it's up to the producers to dispel them is retarded. If I post something here like "My friend in the know heard Lady Gaga is a man, she can post here to refute this rumour" , just because she doesn't post here doesn't mean she's a man.

People are forgetting that in 90% of mainstream commercial music all over the world, the artists responsible for writing/performing melodies, lyrics and the actual track in general have nothing to do with the production/studio work - it gets sent to third parties to be developed into a physical track. Almost all of the quoted artists (im my view) are either mainstream commercial or trying to be, Coincidence??

I think people who go see these artists - go to hear them sing. They don't go to hear the singers music "he/ she" made. It goes without saying that there are ppl behind the actual music.

I would never in 100 years support Alex Morph. He is a fake little snake and lord knows how he got booked for TE.

Thing is - if I want to go see someone because I love their productions (this mostly goes for the smaller producers) then I want to go because I like THEIR productions. I don't want a fukin imposter. I am far too old to solely go out and just get mangled. I like a producer - I'll go hear him play.

So I can see why this thread was made. We know its happening as some producers don't even try to change their sound.. but most aren't written in stone.

Just stfu and don't support them if you don't like them. ;)

lol. you never heard my productions either :p I have respect for those who can create such clear sounding good music, just not those who continually remake others work. Or Bryan Kearney. I had a liveset of his where he really needs his arms cutting off for raping the fx on the cd decks.

oh. he's one of "those".

i haven't had the pleasure of hearing him live - although i would - if he comes to the states. Hopefully he's grown out of that phase.

I've seen him numerous times, event three weeks ago and I can say he is a very good dj, haven't noticed him overusing any fx's any of the times I've seen him.

Your example is not what I am taling about. If 4 different producers who do not know each other came to you and said the same thing, it is much more probable that the rumour has merit.
