LOL! That's because the DJs give credit to the producers on the tracklist. If a DJ released a mix CD of tracks by other producers but claimed they were all his own, you certainly would see people complaining...

Writer/producers know the deal they make up front. They are doing work for hire. Many of them have a piece of the song and receive royalties from record sales as well as up front money.

Some DJ's have gone from one business to the next looking for the big payday. Can you identify them??? Maybe used different names in the other business???? Just dig deep they're out there.

I know of a producer/writer making a great living behind the scenes. They have written songs for most of the DJ's on your list.

Who is this producer? If a graphics company said "We are the graphics company for Armin Van Buuren", would we surprised that Armin doesn't design his graphics himself? Music is different. Because there is no sleeve credits in the digital age, all we see is Artist - Song - Label.

If, for example, Marcus Schossow were Nifra's producer (their tunes do sound like the same producer did them), then why can't she still get her name out there by saying Nifra pres. Marcus Schossow - Song ?
She can still "produce" then, give suggestions, etc. But then we, as music purchasers, can keep track of our favorite artists and what they are working on. There are so many tracks released digitally every day that I get lost with all the new names emerging, and it would be great to keep track of talented guys like Schossow.

I think it has to do with ego in some cases, greed in others, but usually it is really just a lack of talent. Does an artist like Nifra really not have the time to produce, or is it that she knows that if Schossow ghosts for her, she can have a bigger career?

I used to like when I could see the producers names on the CD sleeves, but I don't buy CDs anymore.

Deadmau5 also produced "Contact" & "No Sudden Moves" for Glenn Morrison. Discuss.

Nifra & Schossow had a baby 5 months ago. This picture was sold to a tabloid for 2.5 million dollars. We are pleased to show you the leaked photo.

Are you attempting to be funny or just an idiot?

How many alts did you plan on creating for this thread alone?

Perhaps many can learn to produce, but it will always be a select few who can compose masterpieces or classic hits.

Yes, a creative mind is not that easy to achieve. I still don't see why women, or Niklas Harding for that matter, shouldn't be able to produce. I didn't think we were talking about masterpieces here, but simply production and who does the job.

This thread reminds me of that 9/11 conspiracy thread in the Political sub-Forum.

Funny how they all pretty much joined at the same time to post in this thread.
