The hard/tribal house NY circuit party music (Vasquez/Tenaglia/Calderone/Johnny Vicious) frequently crept over to straight crowds in the NYC area. The local pop stations (Z100, KTU, WBLI, etc) would all have mix shows in the evening that would play all this underground tribal, tracks from Razor N Guido were played at my high school prom, etc.
Was never much my cup of tea, though. |
