ezoo/made events have some good connections with the underground guys due them playing in nyc somewhat regularly. im sure pasquale has the resources to book them, but the market for edc is more commercial ie kaskade, tiesto, afrojack, avicii, etc. im actually surprised that names like tenaglia, moudaber, magda are playing... |

ya they are slowly. they brought victor calderone/loco dice back in dec and adam beyer/ida engberg in jan. plus jamie jones a last month.
whatt...never knew luciano played at avalon. avalon is slacking on the techno talent recently. saw laurent gariner a couple months back, and the crowd was whatever. just people there wanting to dance. seemed like 2% of the crowd knew who was djing. |

Vegas has long already caught on to the EDC thing...every hotel from the Wynn down to the Atrium is going to be at least 100 bucks, Wynn being like $1000.00
Even Tropicana was nearly $200.00 last year strictly for EDC weekend. Thank god I bought a house. If you definitely want to stay at a "Strip" hotel that is cheaper, go to the RIO. It's awesome for the price. I got a 2 room, 2 bathroom, Suite with room for like 30 people to chill out in at the Rio for 105.00 last weekend for my going back to Afghanistan party |

That was almost 3 years ago!!
As of late, I have been pretty close with the whole Cadenza crew. When Sam was Lucien's old booking manager I almost had Lucien booked out here on the west coast. Unfortunately there was changes in the Cadenza camp.
Now, after Miami we re-connected and I am trying to work something out with them out here in SoCal. Think of it as a Vagabundos party if you have ever had the chance to go to one in Miami or across the pond.
Only time will tell, but hopefully around the end of this year or early next year Luciano and friends will be out here. ;) |
