We're getting ready to make some exciting announcements about EDC Vegas, including an entire week of adventures to be had in Las Vegas during the week of Electric Daisy Carnival 2012!
EDC Week will run from Tuesday, June 5 - Tuesday, June 12, featuring everything from daytime poolside parties to exclusive evening club shows, as well as a music conference and other industry activities.
Full details will be released in the coming weeks, but we wanted to make sure our fans had time to plan your journey to Las Vegas for EDC and beyond! Arrive early and stay later; there will be tons to do around the clock during EDC Week. You won't want to be anywhere else!

I'd say you have a 20% chance or less of it being anyone you care about. Let's be real here, it'll be all the mainstream cheese headliners that are the flavors of the moment right now; not any tech house or techno djs that's for sure. |

| im guessing insomniac is going to contract all its artist exclusively, and in some way lease them to the vegas day clubs and night clubs over the week to increase $$$. Very smart move. They kinda did this last year with XS. Sounds like WMC in vegas in the summer |

| From what I've picked up, the shuttle's were a mess last year but they've said they'll have more this year. I'm sure it's like any other shuttle, leave early to avoid a mess and on the way back expect a mess. |

Actually, it was the other way around last year. The artists were locked into certain promotional groups and/or clubs so Pascual had to butter them up to use them at EDC 2011. |

A lot of artists are still locked in this way...from a business standpoint since so many tickets have already been sold I would only book artists that don't have exclusivity contacts (ie they cant draw in vegas, but are "big name")
Sasha is in sf the thur before, I bet hes at edc(empty stage like la a couple years ago)

A couple of name djs, pass on the swedes, pass on the acronyms(atb,pvd,avb, A&b,svd)
Rather spend the day/afternoon at a pool and night inside an air conditioned club if I was in vegas.
Y'all have fun with the 70 minute sets, shuttle nightmare, and the heat without bring in a pool. |

Im sure you are right. My buddy michael has been with XS all year, hes told me all about the contracts they have went after for 2012. Quite agressive. |
