To be clear, we got separated with a friend at the end of Rank 1 and were going to meet up 10 minutes after they shut off te music and the to be frank it was a ing shirfest and we could not get back to where we were supposed to meet. Her phone died and we weren't able to meet up

We saw rank 1 but that's about it. 80% of what we wanted to see we couldn't. I'm pretty ing disappointed.

We missed markus, but at the time I figured it was okay because there was plenty else to see. Yeah.

Yeah -- we didn't even get in traffic last night. Traffic has been an absolute nightmare for this event. I have literally spent more time in traffic getting to the event then at the event itself. We got to the ID check right as they stopped admission.

Last night alone I spent a good 5 hours in traffic (to and from). I ate through a third of my gas tank. It's absolutely rubbish.

Honestly, this has hands-down been the worst Insomniac event I've ever been to. It absolutely sucks. The whole atmosphere doesn't even feel as great as last year in my opinion. I'm sure partially it is soured by the drive, but the event just feels really thrown together on site. They are way more carnival rides and a lot less art pieces. Almost none of the art is interactive unlike last year. Most of the stages are mediocre in design -- they just feel like they are half finished. Hopefully tonight will help make the whole experience better because my group should be leaving earlier. We'll see.

Also: The stage they rolled up for Markus & Armin is the Wide Awake Art Car that debut at Beyond. Unfortunately, I never saw a thing last night, as I spent it all in traffic and got there right as they closed up the entrance.

Pasquale owes the fans that paid for tickets big time. I am not getting nearly my $300 out of this . This event has been an utter disaster despite the stacked line up. I'm not talking just about the weather shut down, I mean the whole thing. I've never seen such a cluster f**k of parking.

For those wondering about refunds due to the "shut down" and "denied entry" -- Insomniac is covered by the rain or shine policy. they have safety laws they have to follow and they do not have to offer refunds unless the whole thing was 100% shut down.

Thanks!

Friends of ours are there...nice to listen in.

Girl is in Hermosa and WeHo for the weekend and I'm stuck here in Sac. Ugh.

This helps.

it only happened once which was at Tryst a few nights ago... and the resident djs said it was BS that he was kicked off and that that he left on his own and now he's deleted his tweets mentioned what happened so who knows.

Last night he was on at EDC when the order came down to stop the music on all stages.

eh - most people last night seemed pretty understanding of why they did what they did... and 1/2 of the party did go on. add in honoring Sat single-day tix tonight seems like they are trying to make up best they can. Go Ventures was a very different situation as you know.

And Darph - i assume you drove yourself, right? yeah i've heard how long its taken to get in/our that manner.

taking the shuttles its been around 2+ hours from walking out of our hotel room to getting in the venue. 1 hour to get back friday and maybe 40 minutes last night.
