they can't get their together to correctly announce their lineup. it's utterly ridiculous that fans can spend a few hours to make nice spreadsheets like yours but insomniac cant spend a day or two to update their website with correct information instead of confusing everyone.

on a side note, anyone who had experience last year: will i be able to bring one of these in? i was able to bring one to coachella, but i dont think coachella is as strict

Agreed. Though frankly, I'm surprised they never did a "Phase 2" announcement. IMHO, I think the New York show was such an afterthought that has gobbled so much time it isn't funny. Now, it's scramble to finish up the Vegas show. They really ought to focus on one show and get it all squared away. They did that with Beyond imo, and it showed. UMF does it well as well, but doesn't look nearly as fun as EDC to me.
That being said... Insomniac really ought to step it up. If ID&T / Q-Dance (a single company in actuality) really come marching into America, they need to step up to compete with the organization. If all ID&T does is combine with other American events and do one Sensation a year on the East Coast, then the incentive will be much less. We'll see I guess.
I thought you were simply complaining that they keep removing the live tags (which isn't really that big of deal to me - it makes sense from a logistics perspective)

It's a small bag with multiple compartments though. If in doubt, I'd bring it only if you are driving yourself so you can go drop it off at your car. I thought about trying to bring a GoPro actually... but I'm fairly sure I wont get it in. =0\
Also, on a side note - I noticed Paper Diamonds, Visionquest, and Tim Mason officially appeared on the music page on the website. |

Do you think a regular camera would be ok? Example- Nikon S8100

i think technically you are okay. DSLRs are what you have to get permitted to bring in... i suspect with the lens closer you are fine. |

Honestly, getting stuff into Insomniac events is hit or miss depending on the security guard you get. I've seen plenty of people in these events with little DSLR's and kit lenses, like T2i's, yet those are not allowed.

Should be fine - I brought in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS15 with no issues. Took that camera to Beyond with no issues as well. This year I'm taking my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS20. |
