1st day impressions -
Kinetic Field looks so much smaller than last year's massive stage. They have all of these skinny LED screens around the area but they are so spread out that it doesn't work well IMO. Circuit Grounds's LED screens on the side are so skinny that you cannot really see if they are trying to put graphics on them and the main one is narrow so the graphics are kinda chopped off on the sides. For those 2 stages I think last year's setups were way better. The Bass Pod stage looks so plain compared to that circle thing they had last year. They aslo have those tall/skinny LED screens for the Cosmic Meadow stage and they are kind of spread far apart so I do not think they look that great :(
I liked the setup of the Q-stage the best. Too bad I'm not into hardcore.
Lines for the shuttle and entrance were short.
Traffic from the strip was the worst part. 1 1/2 hours to get from the strip to the Speedway at 9PM. |
