check out the XS and surrender websites...they have all their dj's do a show or two per month. basically all the other big names not at marquee or haze. get a residency in vegas or be left out in the cold, or playing at rain! they are the ones that started it all, too bad. |

I took the Shuttles all 3 days last year. The first night it was a complete mess with hundred of us waiting till almost noon to get a cab back.
However, They realized all the bitching, and got more busses for Sat and Sunday, and it was perfect. They already worked out the kinks as it was their first time doing that to and from the strip. |

With Beyond Wonderland having sold out, wonder what the odds are of EDC '12 selling out with only 3 day passes being sold? I know that the venue is gigantic, but could it happen?
Oh, my reason for asking is that I'm still experiencing "this economy" to the fullest and have decided to go only on Saturday or not at all this year. If that's not an option, makes my choice easier but perhaps less fun... |

The venue is gigantic but they're not utilizing it to the full extend. Pasquale said he's setting the capacity limit to 300k (vs 230k between 3 days last year) at EDC LV this year and maybe expand next year. |

ya the speedway is huge and could easily fit 150k people per day, but i dont think insomniac is willing to risk that liability with that many people dancing, in the heat, all night...
insomniac is capping edc to 100k tickets. the 300k is combined all 3 days. im pretty sure its around 85% sold out with 3mo to go...so odds are it will sell out. |
