no presales EVER at drais.
Cover charge is $30-$50 depending on how busy it is.
And if its really busy, the wait to get in can be unbelievably long. Unlike the other vegas club, there is no line, just a square area blocked off with ropes/stantions. The vip hosts just let in who they want.
Always helps to have a good girl/guy ratio there. |

Incorrect. On the very very very few times they have had well known djs there they have sold presales. I suspect edc week will be the same. |

When you live here, you inevitably seem to know/meet people who can get you in places free. I agree with you though for visitors...it must suck paying full Vegas prices, but people do. Deadmau5 gets paid $250,000 (my best friend works for them so this is verified) every show he does at XS. But that means the drinks and cover they are charging is clearing $500,000-$1 Mill that night. That place hold A LOT of peeps. 3 double vodka and tonics was $65.00 last time I was there while Aoki was spinning on a Wednesday.
The good thing about Vegas is that good DJs come often. Can't say that for most cities in the USA. And the prices and hassle still aren't as bad as NYC. |

Yeah i feel ya on that..I dont understand insomniacs "no sit" policy. At beyond wonderland my back was about to give out because i couldn't find anywhere to sit down and rest. That was just after 3 hrs, i can't imagine all night...and yes i have back problems |

ive never heard of guys having to pay twice as much as girls, just because they have a penis, in any other city (i wouldnt be surprised if it happen occasionally, but in vegas it is the norm)

Wrong and wrong
They have been selling presales for a few months now to almost every saturday @ drais. Cover charge if you don't know someone and you're just a group of guys can be 80 dollars+ a head... I've seen them charge people more lol
If you're not industry or good friends with someone in the industry that is good friends with the hosts you will pay.
How drais works for a group of 4 guys
Host: Hi, are you on the guestlist?
Group of 4 guys: No, can we get on the guestlist?
Host: Give me a price.
Group of 4 guys: 40 dollars?
Host: Per guy? Come back when you have your head screwed on right
Group of 4 guys: So you want 40 per guy to let us in?
Host: Yes, you will still have to pay cover downstairs.. I am letting you cut infront of everyone here waiting to get in.
Group of 4 guys: Ok... *hands over money*
After I patiently watch all this unfold
Me: Hey man can you let a guy thats industry in ;)
Host: Ohh man ofcourse sup why didn't you say something!!!! |

this doesn't always work but it does on occasion. Depends on the weekend.
