thats what i meant. first few were Q dance and others are not.
And totally. Screw large sized stages that are nothing but trusses and monitors. Go for concept. Really make the festival feel like a festival and not a rock concert for EDM. Have signage, decorations, stage design, etc. The rides and performers are great. But there is so much more that could be done to differentiate it from everyone else. If they pull these off, they made it on par with ID&T. next thing then is camping which will happen next year more than likely. |

| I don't think that camping would happen, at least not in Las Vegas. EDC is held roughly from sunset to sunrise, so "overnight" camping would be in the middle of the day in June when the temperature can easily be 115 degrees. An air conditioned room is the only good place to sleep in that kind of climate... |

Also, many festivals are held in the middle of nowhere and there is not a large supply of hotel rooms as there are in Vegas.
I could possibly see them allowing RVs in there in the future though... |

| Uggh...just called my credit card company about some charges that I didn't recognize so they closed my account and are issuing me a card with a new number. Only half of my EDC ticket (was layaway) has been charged so far, and the EDC group rate hotel deposit had not yet posted to my credit card. Hope this doesn't screw up my room reservation or ticket order, since both are now going to bounce... |

| Camping will never ever happen at EDC as long as it stays in Vegas. The entire city revolves around income generated from the hotels. The city would never allow it. |

Can't speak for hotels, but with ticket order you will be sent a notification at the beg of the month, asking to update your new credit card information on flavorus. |

Called the credit card company, but they can't do it. The merchants who are making the charges must be given a new cc number. If anyone else should need to do this, call the hotel directly and ask for passkey group reservations. If you call the number on the email confirmation, they don't have the information (at least for MGM properties). I've gone through being transferred on the phone a few times since then and am awaiting a call back.
Changing the card info for the actual ticket looks to be a lot easier though, but plan on spending a few hours on the whole process... :(
Edit: There's also a link in the confirmation email for "all changes, new reservations and cancellations," but upon clicking it the following comes up:

| I know pasquale was actually considering campgrounds for next year or two years from now. Not sure if itll happen but that would really make this festival on par with other genre festivals and edm fests in europe. |
