^^I would have to agree with you as well mate. Nothing but a bunch of money greedy pigs at the moment. Can't even break down a dodgy Bolton defence, which were Florent Laville. I really dont know where the team can go on from here, but SBR can't use Lady luck as an excuse forever. With Arsenal on friday, im certain will loose that and it is a scary thought thinking we will be winless going into October. I can see more and more impatient Newcastle fans joining the boo boys of Tyne and im sorry yo say but i am starting to slightly turn as i like everyone else is becoming increasingly frustrated.
We have Breda tomorrow and hopefully we can kickstart our season then. If we do loose, then there really has to be some changes. Whether it will be on the managerial side or the team, something has to give. |

Well good result on wednesday some good goals.
But as for last night, Jenas u absolute nobba.
What was he playing at? he should have been marking Gilberto when he scred and as for the handball. Also bramble makes so many mistakes.
Apart from that newcastle played quite well. One thing we need to work on is passing, Arsenal were just passing and we were getting know where, but when we passed, they were all just short passes and were getting intercepted all of the time.
I say more time on the training ground and some wage deductions.
Woohoo Woodgate out for upto 8 weeks nice 1 |

Newcastle V Southampton
I definitely feel a win coming on here. We performed admirably against Arsenal last week and it was a type of performance i'd like to see the boys play week in week out. Although we lost :whip:
---------Given
Hugues--Bramble--OB---Bernard
Dyer--Jenas---Speed---Robert
Shearer---Bellamy
I'd like to see the same team that took on Arsenal, except that Lee Bowyer has to be left out. I think SBR may bring back Solano into the side, but i have no idea who he will replace.
Bowyer has to go since he looks very poor at the moment and i think Speed and Jenas could form an excellent defensive partnership in the heart of our midfield.
I think everyone is in form coming into this weekend, but Bellamy is looking out of sorts just a little. He was awesome against Breda and then totally invisible up front against the Gunners, providing absolutely nothing in the game.
Inconsistency has been a big factor to the start of our season and our players are always susceptible to it. |

i read before that robert is suspended.
I Reckon it will probably be a close match. Either a 1-1 draw or someone will edge it with a 2-1 victory. |

Yes Robert's suspension is a major setback for us and it couldn't come at a worse time just when he is hitting top form.
I've actually got a good feeling about this game and our we usually just win our games at home. I think last season we had something like 6 results at home all being 2-1 wins.
I think if we can keep a lid on Ratboy Phillips :whip: and Beattie we will run out comfortable winners.
Although there defence with Lundekvam seems very stubborn to break down.
Good luck lads!!
I predict 3-1 win to the TOON |

we should win comfortably if bramble doesnt make any of his usual stupid mistakes.
IMO Jenas shouldnt be playing today for what he did against Arsenal.
And we wanna see the midfield working there bollox off.
I reckon the midfield should be
Viana/Ambrose-----Speed-----Dyer-----Bowyer/Solano
Ive also heard this and its not bull , inside information which i was told a couple of weeks ago. If we dont win today, bobbys gone. I was told he had upto the southampton game ot get a win, and if nothing happened, he was a gonna. |

I Only saw the highlights of the game but from the highlights newcastle seemed to dominate the game.
Shearers goal was class.
We just need to get a few more wins due to the fact where about 20 points behind :o :o |

ALAN SHEARER!!!
I'm so happy for the boys that they have finally got their first Premiership win under their belts. Let it lead to many more!
I still haven't seen the highlights myself but by the sounds of it from others, i bloody should.
We are looking good and only time will tell whether or not we can sustain our current form and catch the front-runners
On the transfer front i read that Sir Bobby is keen to sign Chelsea's Iceman (Eidur)when the January tranfer window re-opens. That's if a bid for Patrick Kluivert falls through since he is our main target. |

I cant se kluivert wanting to come to newcastle after the poor start and not being in the champions league. IMO Weve blown our chances already of winning the league due to the poor start. IMO we over achieved last year. |
