PSV 1 - 1 Newcastle
(Kezman) - (Jenas)
A good result, but we've still got our work cut out at home. The ref and his assistants were absolutely shocking, an incredible number of free-kicks (almost entirely to PSV), many of them for nothing, killed the game dead.
Surprisingly good performances from Jenas and Bramble. The only player I can really fault is Hughes who should have blasted Vennegoor's hopeful header into touch. Instead the ball bounced, he slipped, and Kezman was through on goal. Bramble backed off giving him space to shoot and PSV got a free goal from nothing, although it was a well taken chip by Kezman. After the initial 15 minutes when they looked very threatening we settled into a rhythm and took the game to them, and thoroughly deserved our equaliser. We allowed them more possesion in the second half but defended excellently. A fair result overall really. |

Hey guys,
fingers crossed you can help me on this one, this was a picture I took in the bar/pub (couldnt really tell, too smashed!) and the date stamp is wrong btw, this pic is of a family we met there, nice bunch! bought each other a load of drinks and got bloody wrecked.
Please ID this Pub/Bar in Newcastle
Hope one of you can identify it, I'd like to go in and suprise them, they go to every game and I think they said that is their "local" so it would be great to show up in there a year on hehe.
Cheers, |

PSV only gave Newcastle an allocation of 1600 tickets. Given the behaviour of their own fans they have no right to complain about ours. Wonder what ticket allocation will Newcastle give to PSV fans? |
