This is not meant to be racist in any way. I am just wondering this.

Why have all the video images and still images of people that tried to stick it out and now are being rescued..... are of african american descent? Im amazed that is what I am seeing on the TV? Is it a money issue.... or a cultural thing?? Im kinda curious and this is in no way me trying to be racist or anything of that nature.

There are many poverty stricken African American people in NO.

Most of the ones who didn't leave were probably the poor, and thus they are the ones who most need to be rescued.

I am wondering myself whether the fact that most victims are Black will cause people to give less aid, etc.

This is crazy, 80% of New Orleans is under 20 feet of water.

Theres this one black guy that is getting air time all over the news, man I really feel bad for the guy.

BTW, did you guys hear, the prisoners from the local state prison of Naw'Leans held up a bunch of people at some Zoo or Mall or something.
