i understand what you are saying brent, i never realised that time is needed for these things.
but they had 2 days notice and it wasnt like they didnt notify, i mean if anything they gave such dramatic notices, which in any case came true :(.
there are people that couldnt get out in time and didnt have enough money, why were no buses supplied or free public transport to get them out if there was *that* much danger? if it was me i would have walked to higher ground with those warnings.
on another note it is good to hear that leopold is safe and sound. |

Why is their so mush National Guard but no people who can help with getting a lot of food, water, milk!!! America is the best right?!?!
Lots of respect for New Orleans mayor. Couple minutes ago he was on CNN and kicking governments ass!! |
The city has collapsed into total anarchy. It's difficult to get supplies into the city if there isn't an orderly fashion in which it is being delivered. |

| Never thought I'd see the day that Bush would admit to having an "unacceptable" response. Looks like the National Guard is finally making its way into the city. :) |

I think too much of the military is off in Iraq to actually put enough of them in the Gulf Coast...I read the "national guard arrived in force today." |
