us in atlanta should start seeing rain tomorrow. best of luck to everyone in la, ms, and al. this is not going to a pretty site to see when the storm has passed over. it's really saddening to think that some people didn't make it out. i do not have a job at the moment and i have thought about after the storm is gone, i might make my way south and help with the cleanup. i will be glued to the tv no doubt.

thanks sam for all the info you have posted!

For some reason all this attention of the storm reminds me of the movie The Day After Tomorrow

Some say that at peak strength, this hurricane, could qualify as a category 6 if there was one.

This hurricane is also bigger and stronger than Andrew.
